Behaviour Problems
We know how much aggressive behaviour or anxiety impacts the quality of life of you and your pets
What is the difference between bad manners and behaviour problems?
Bad manners, and naughty behaviour such as digging holes, scavenging in the rubbish bin, and barking is normal behaviour – for the dog – but unacceptable for their humans.
Then there are behaviour problems that are driven by anxiety, frustration and high arousal that can result in fearful, aggressive or reactive behaviour.
Regular training will not resolve these issues and a broader approach that addresses, not only the behaviour, but the underlying emotions and instincts, is needed.
- Fear of noises, people, dogs and places
- Separation Related Problems
- Dog and cat aggression towards people
- Aggression between household dogs or cats
- Reactivity on the leash
Behaviour Consultation
At the beginning of our process, we offer a 90-minute consultation. This is a plan of action tailored to your pet’s specific needs. This plan may include behaviour modification training, environmental enrichment, and other strategies. We also provide education and support to help you understand your pet’s behaviour and make sure you are equipped with the tools and knowledge to help them succeed.
The consultation is conducted via Zoom,
- Initial Behaviour Problem Consultation - $220
Follow up support and Treatment Programs
After the initial consultation, you can always book a follow-up consultation for any advice or support you may need.
We recommend booking a package of sessions that will ensure the best results. Each session lasts half an hour. During each session, you’ll be guided through the exercises you need to do for the next week. Between all the sessions, you’ll provide daily updates and we will be on hand to provide guidance.
We will help you stay on track and motivated towards your goals. We will create a training plan tailored to your needs, provide guidance with every step of the way, adjust the program depending on progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
All sessions are conducted via Zoom unless otherwise organised.
- 30 minute follow up session - $60
- 6 sessions (once a week, up to 4 times a week) over a 6 week period package - $324
- 12 sessions (once a week, up to 4 times a week) over a 12 week period package - $670
